A wide range of issues were discussed during the meeting, with particular focus on the need to uphold and strengthen democratic principles amid the ongoing changes taking place around the world. The Speakers also emphasised how greater unity among world leaders could contribute to fostering global peace and stability.
Highlighting the European Union as a model for sovereign nations striving for peace, unity, and stability, the Speakers also underscored the importance of the EU challenging the People’s Republic of China’s false narrative that Tibet has historically been part of China by presenting accurate historical facts.
